A few weeks ago I received the most beautiful email from this client who wanted to surprise her boyfriend with cupcakes. Explaining how they randomly found love while traveling, she asked for the surfboard cupcakes to be delivered in one of the surfing capitals of the world, San Clemente.

Midway between Los Angeles and San Diego, San Clemente has become a personal favorite beach destination. The mile long beach is far enough from the big cities to preserve its integrity, and the Spanish town is just lovely. And a visit is never complete without a late afternoon snack at Pedro's Tacos!
