A Trip To Everland

A little over a week ago, I had the chance to work with the very talented Leesa from Send In The Clown on a mermaid and fairy tea party event. I did the cake and a few other treats. While I was thrilled about how the concept of the cake came together, please take a moment to look at the whole set up of the party! It is simply spectacular!

See this page for a lot more pictures and details. Enjoy!

Snow White Fairy Tale

A woodland Snow White party
Leave it to Leesa and the Send In The Clowns team to transport you into magical places with their fabulous kids parties. The latest is a Snow White fairy tale. No details were forgotten on the kids tables, were party guests found sweet and savory treats, wands, and tutu dress bags (how cute are those?) to save their treasures in the most fashionable way. Wood pieces and containers were use to create an enchanted forest feel.

And the cake... I needed a LOT of convincing before accepting to do a doll cake, especially when I had this woodland tiered cake design in mind! Thanks to my daughter for letting me borrow her Rapunzel doll to take measurements, test out the dress and how I would "glue" the fondant on the shiny plastic (not a medium a cake designer is use to work with!)... It was a funny sight, I should have documented the process!

Leesa created Snow White's kitchen, complete with tools and ingredients to make apple pies and cookies.

And she did not forget the boys with this mine like adventure. It all looked like so much fun!

Seaside Beach Party

We were once more very lucky to take part of a fabulous Send In The Clowns event. The beach was the destination, and every detail was inspired by the sand and the blue sea. So here are just a few pictures of the event that will hopefully transport you there! You can see many more pictures here

Much more than a tractor ride

This past weekend, we got the opportunity to create the dessert display for a fabulous Send In The Clowns event. Set up on a ranch by the mountains, I am so excited to share the pictures of this John Deere birthday party. Green and yellow never looked so good in this exquisite setting!

And now the treats! From the two-tier birthday cake to caramel apples and cake pops, we created an array of desserts to go with the theme of the event. Send In The Clown created this stunning back drop to create The Mercantile. As always, enjoy!
