Much more than a tractor ride

This past weekend, we got the opportunity to create the dessert display for a fabulous Send In The Clowns event. Set up on a ranch by the mountains, I am so excited to share the pictures of this John Deere birthday party. Green and yellow never looked so good in this exquisite setting!

And now the treats! From the two-tier birthday cake to caramel apples and cake pops, we created an array of desserts to go with the theme of the event. Send In The Clown created this stunning back drop to create The Mercantile. As always, enjoy!

  1. Beautiful display! Quick question ~ how did you mold those cake pops? Is there something you used or did you do them by hand? I've mostly just stayed with the cake "ball" but I'm forever trying to come up with new ideas. {thanks}

  2. The whole composition is simply exquisite! The variety of the products, their presentation, the talent involved ... This is amazing in its entire extent. I'll bet it tastes as good as it looks.

  5. Thank you Elizabeth and Sandi! Yes they are molded by hand, dipped in coating chocolate, then we decorated them. A lot of work, but well worth it!
