This blog has been quiet in the past month since I was very busy working on an exciting new venture. In partnership with Lot 44 Coffee in downtown Los Angeles, our cupcakes will now be available in permanence! Starting next Monday, July 20, the classic flavors such as red velvet, chocolate, coconut and vanilla will be offered, in addition to many seasonal flavors - yes, the very popular strawberry cupcakes will be baked fresh for the event!
So please come visit between 11am to 2pm - 257 S. Spring Street, Suite 115, L.A. - next Monday for FREE cupcakes and coffee!
In the mean time, here are pictures of some of the latest custom projects.

ReplyDeleteI am just a hobbyist-cupcake-maker (my co-workers love me though!) and was wondering if you could tell me what I am doing wrong. I have cut little fondant flowers just like these, and put them on buttercream frosted cupcakes. I keep them on in a Wilton cupcake carrier over night and by the time I get to work in the morning the fondant flowers have softened up and lose the nice perky look. Is it because I covered them?
ReplyDeleteAlso, would you mind sharing what tip you use to get those beautiful swirl tops??
Your creations are just lovely - you are an inspiration! I wish I would some day be a quarter as good.
Thank you,
Dee
Congrats Julie! Can't wait to be able to pop in for one of your fab cupcakes!
